Skimming Services

Skimming is the art of applying a thin, fine layer of finishing plaster over existing walls or new plasterboard. We deliver a flat, flawless surface ready for paint or wallpaper.

When You Need Skimming

Rough, uneven walls after removing old wallpaper. New plasterboard installations that need a final smooth coat. Dents, gouges, and patches from repairs that stand out. Preparing a room for a high-end paint or wallpaper finish.

How We Do It

We apply a primer or PVA sealer to ensure strong adhesion to the wall surface. We apply two smooth coats of finishing plaster using professional trowels. We polish the surface as it sets to achieve a smooth, flat finish. We inspect our work under strong light to ensure no imperfections remain.

What to Expect

A standard room can usually be skimmed in 1 to 2 days.
